Here's what we do
Secure log-in
To log-in you will need to enter your surname, a unique Membership Number, your Passcode and two characters selected at random from your Memorable Word. Only after you have correctly entered these can you access your data.

We have set the LedgerMaster service to automatically log you out if you haven't used it for 20 minutes. This provides some security if you walk away from the computer and forget to log-out.You will have to log-in again if this happens. You should always use the log-out button after you've finished using LedgerMaster.

LedgerMaster is hosted on a secure server that uses the latest encryption technology. This helps to ensure that information passing between your PC and the bank is secure and that your data cannot be accessed by anyone else online. When you log-in, the personal data you enter will be automatically encrypted so that no-one can read it.

LedgerMaster cannot be accessed unless cookies are enabled.
We use session cookies to prevent unauthorised access to your LedgerMaster data. The cookies are stored in your browser and expire once you have logged out of LedgerMaster. Along with the application's programming, these cookies effectively ensure that once you have finished your LedgerMaster session, it cannot be re-launched until the full log-in process has been completed again.
We also use permanent cookies, which are stored on your hard drive. These are used to save your membership number and surname on your computer so you don't have to type them in every time you use LedgerMaster.
We also use permanent cookies to record which pages you visit as you look around LedgerMaster. We do not analyse this information at an individual level, but instead use information from across our user base to create an overall picture of how our customers visit LedgerMaster. This helps us to improve our service.
